Michael Woods was born about 1684 in Ulster, Ireland and died 1762 in Albemarle Co, VA.

He married Mary Campbell. She was born 2 June 1690 in Argyllshire, Scotland and died 1742 in Albemarle Co, VA. She was the daughter of Sir James Campbell and Susan Campbell.
